FAQ

  • Legacy Blueprint is designed for seniors aged 70 and older who want to take control of how the rest of their life unfolds. It’s for people who feel anxious about aging and want clear, compassionate guidance through the unknowns.

That said, you do not have to be 70 to benefit from this course. Many people in their 50s and 60s begin to ask questions like:

    • What will happen to me if I can’t care for myself?

    • Who will help manage my affairs?

    • How can I make sure I’m not a burden on my children?

While we’ve found that many people in their 60s aren’t quite ready emotionally to think about these concerns, if you're already thinking about these questions, this course is absolutely for you—no matter your age.

  • Hopefully! Aging is unpredictable and deeply personal.

Legacy Blueprint includes 22 videos, practical assignments, and encourages thoughtful conversations with estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, and family members. It does require some mental energy, clarity, and the capacity to reflect on big decisions.

If you feel like you’re no longer in a place to engage deeply with these topics—or you’re already facing moderate or significant cognitive challenges—this course may not be the best fit for you.

However, it’s never too late to communicate your basic wishes.

Even a short conversation or written note to your children about how you’d like your life to unfold can make a meaningful difference. Sharing things like:

    • Who you trust to help you with decisions

    • What kind of environment you want to live in

    • What brings you comfort or joy

    • Your most important end-of-life wishes

Even if you can’t complete the full course, starting somewhere is powerful. Your voice still matters.

  • The Legacy Blueprint course includes:

    • 22 short and accessible videos (5–25 minutes each)

    • An 85-page companion coursebook (mailed to you)

      1. Includes summaries, diagrams, tips, and simple homework

    • Three core steps:

      1. Appoint Your Legal Agent

      2. Build Your Team

      3. Simplify Your Life

You can go at your own pace and re-watch the videos anytime.

  • No. The course was built with seniors in mind.

You’ll receive easy instructions, and many people complete the course without help. If you prefer support, watching it with a loved one or adult child can be a beautiful way to go through the process together.

  • No. Legacy Blueprint is not a legal service and does not replace a formal estate plan.

    But it does:

    • Help you understand your documents and responsibilities

    • Prepare your loved ones for their future roles

    • Guide you in creating a living, flexible plan for aging

It answers the questions that legal documents don’t.

  • You can move at your own pace.

Some complete the course in a few weeks, others take a few months. There’s no rush. You can revisit the materials whenever needed.

  • That’s completely normal. Talking about aging, decline, and end-of-life planning can be deeply emotional.

This course is built with compassion. If it feels too big to take on alone, we suggest:

    • Watching the videos with a trusted person

    • Taking breaks when needed

Going one step at a time—even small progress matters

  • Some seniors aren’t ready to plan. That’s okay. This kind of planning is new—most of today’s seniors never saw their own parents live this long or face these issues.

    If your parent is overwhelmed:

    • Try watching one video together

    • Emphasize how planning now protects their independence

    • Let them know that writing down their wishes helps you honor them

Just having one conversation or writing down a few notes can make a big difference.

  • Yes. Your information is private and secure. We never share or sell your data.

  • Legacy Blueprint was created by Jennifer Wallis, a compassionate estate planning attorney and MBA, in collaboration with Lynn Lively, a former professional speaker and the course’s case study.

They built this course so no one would have to face aging without guidance.
